The Cleric is a close-quarters healing-dps hybrid build which can provide large bursts of healing through a combination of Sacred Ground and Light’s Embrace, but also has quick-kill potential through the Flail's offensive capabilities.

This build is primarily focused on the PVP side of New World and functions well in Outpost Rush and 3v3 Arena, but could be used for healing expeditions and general solo PVE content.

Cleric Build Pros:

• Capable of both burst healing and burst damage

• The Flail provides multiple strong weaken debuffs, reducing the damage the enemy does by up to 30%

• Both Flail and Life Staff provide numerous haste buffs, allowing you to engage or disengage from the enemy with ease

Cleric Build Cons:

• Weak to CC - any enemy that can root, knockdown or stun you can counter this build as it’s reliant on movement speed and dodges for survivability

• More dedicated healing builds such as “The Sage” will perform better in groups that are looking for you to play the healer role, as the Cleric sacrifices some healing to bring in more damage and CC
